Actionstep become first PCMS to integrate with Accesspoint’s Mozaique Legal Aid Manager

Bringing Seamless Legal Aid Billing to Cloud-Based Practice Management

Accesspoint Legal, the legal-sector technology specialist behind the Mozaique platform, announced that its Mozaique Legal Aid Manager now integrates directly with Actionstep, the cloud-based practice and case management system (PCMS) used by law firms worldwide.

The integration connects Mozaique’s purpose-built Legal Aid billing and compliance engine with Actionstep’s all-in-one practice management platform, giving Legal Aid practitioners a joined-up workflow from matter opening through to Legal Aid Agency (LAA) submission. Matter and client data flows automatically between the two systems, removing duplicate data entry and the errors that come with it.

Legal Aid Manager (LAM) is purpose-built to tackle the complexity of legal aid billing: AI-powered certificate management, LAA-compliant cost monitoring, AI-driven automatic contract upload and automated enhancement recommendations ensure every billable activity is captured and submitted accurately.

Firms can send their complete bill (including profit costs with fee earner allocation, disbursements and VAT) directly into their legal accounts or Actionstep for inclusion in the matter ledger and financial reports.

The integration is available now to firms using both Actionstep and Mozaique Legal Aid Manager.

With the launch of LAM’s comprehensive API toolkit, legal technology providers can now integrate directly with the platform.
